![]() ![]() ![]() If I start stripping some of those things away, I do not think it will be as effective. One of the big selling points was the ease of use. I am currently looking at an alternative, not so much for myself, but I finally got my partner to use LastPass because she was always having issues with passwords. Do I have something turned off? Autofill is off by default, there is no apparent capture of new accounts, you do not have the dropdown injected into the login fields like Last Pass, so it is a right click and multiple clicks to get to the correct entry. but all of the people saying it is so much better usability wise from LastPass, I am not sure I understand. I have been trying bitwarden on both my PC and my phone for about a week, and it seems to work pretty well. I understand it is open source and that make people feel more secure about it. If LastPass is willing to skimp on encrypting certain things it makes you wonder what else are they not doing right mstroiu 3 yr. If you do a similar test on Bitwarden you can see they encrypt a lot more than LastPass. Securely generate, store, manage and monitor your team credentials. The biggest reason I would pick Bitwarden over LastPass is that LastPass doesn't encrypt everything inside your vault. ![]() I would prefer not to have comments from those folks. Passbolt is an open source password manager designed for team collaboration. ![]() Obviously I am asking this on a bitwarden subreddit and I realize a lot of people hate LastPass just to hate it. ![]()
